2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Gets New Standard Features

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution may be dead for now, but the standard Lancer lives on.

The Japanese automaker has added new standard features to the 2015 Lancer, including heated side view mirrors with turn indicators, a new Value Package, white contrast seat and door stitching on the GT model and a new Sun and Sound Package.

The new Value Package will add 16-inch wheels, FUSE Hands-Free Link System with USB port, high contrast meters with color multi-information display, chrome interior door handles, soft-touch upper door trim and rear disk brakes on the ES model. On the SE model, new standard features include everything in the Value Package in addition to six-speaker audio system, fog lights, Sport front bumper with color-matched center bumper.

The new Sun and Sound Package comes with a power glass sunroof, nine-speaker 710-watt Rockford Fosgate premium sound system and HID headlights for the GT model.

The Mitsubishi Lancer comes standard with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque while the Lancer GT is equipped with a more powerful 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine with 168 hp and 167 lb-ft of torque.

The Lancer Ralliart will also live on for the 2015 model year, powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine with 237 hp and 253 lb-ft of torque.

Pricing on the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer was not announced.
