Don’t count Mitsubishi out just yet as the brand still has some plans for the U.S. market, including a new corporate face to be used across its entire lineup.
Expect the new look Mitsubishi to arrive in 2015 for 2016 model year vehicles, starting with the affordable Mitsubishi Mirage subcompact. The redesign includes a new grille and fascia for the brand, plus a new hood design, headlights and other updates for the Mirage.
Next in line to get the new look is the 2016 Lancer, 2016 Outlander and 2016 Outlander Sport, while a new sedan version of the Mirage will debut as a 2017 model-year vehicle. That Mirage Sedan could also see a turbo-charged model in higher-trim levels.

Expect the updated models to also receive some much needed interior changes as well.
Sources have also hinted that a new mid-sized sedan from the brand could be on the table, but by way of European automaker Renault. The plan is for Renault to supply the Japanese automaker with a vehicle to sell, now that the Galant is discontinued, but no details have been confirmed yet.
