2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV Gets Minor Updates

Mitsubishi is giving its i-MiEV electric car minor updates for the 2016 model year.

The Japanese automaker has announced that the 2016 Mitsubishi i-MiEV will hit dealerships in late March and will be priced from $23,845 including destination, marking no price increase compared to the previous model. As the most affordable electric vehicle in the U.S., the i-MiEV is eligible for a $7,500 Federal tax credit making its net starting MSRP $16,345.

Standard features on the i-MiEV include heated front seats, remote keyless entry and heated side mirrors. A new Navigation Package will be available for the 2016 model year that includes an MMCS navigation system with seven-inch touchscreen display, real-time traffic, 3D mapping and Mapcare, Bluetooth hands-free phone system, USB port and rearview camera. The Navigation Package is priced at $2,000.
