Mitsubishi is teasing the new 2016 Outlander crossover before it is revealed at the 2015 New York Auto Show.
The Outlander is the first vehicle in the brand’s lineup to debut with Mitsubishi’s new design language, most of which we have already seen thanks to leaked images. Styling is very similar to the Outlander PHEV-S Concept that debuted at last year’s Paris Motor Show.

Power for the updated crossover is expected to still come from either a 2.4-liter four cylinder or a 3.0-liter V6. The long awaited plug-in hybrid version is also expected to be available in the U.S. with the new model. The brand says that noise levels, ride, handling and throttle response have all been improved.
The Outlander will make its debut on April. 2. Check back to AutoGuide for live updates from the New York Auto Show.
