Set to go on sale in early March, pricing for the 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been announced.

Starting from $24,290 including destination, the first shipment of the compact crossover has arrived in Port Hueneme on the West Coast in the U.S. The Japanese automaker announced those units will be delivered to dealerships nationwide. The Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi’s second all-new vehicle to arrive to the U.S. for the 2018 model year, following the Outlander PHEV that arrived dealerships last December.

Powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers 152 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque while paired to a CVT. Without all-wheel drive, the crossover returns 26 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway for a 27-mpg combined rating. When equipped with all-wheel drive, fuel economy goes to 25-mpg city, 26-mpg highway, and 25-mpg combined.

“2018 represents an exciting next chapter for Mitsubishi Motors, and the all-new Eclipse Cross is a large part of that story,” said Don Swearingen, executive vice president and chief operating officer, MMNA. “The Eclipse Cross builds on the strong Mitsubishi heritage of automotive performance, technology and fun-to-drive dynamics revived in a CUV. We’re excited to add the Eclipse Cross to our established CUV lineup and know it will continue to fuel the brands current sales momentum.”
