The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution will get a small price cut for its final model year.
The Japanese automaker has announced that the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution GSR will be priced from $35,305 including destination, a $500 price decrease compared to the 2014 model year. Those shopping for the Lancer Evolution MR will be staring at a $39,805 price tag.

Options on the Lancer Evolution include Phantom Black exterior paint ($250) and a Premium package that adds a Rockford Fosgate audio system, nine speakers, a power sunroof and more for $3,800. As a carryover model, the Lancer Evolution sees little changes with heated sideview mirrors now being standard, while it is still powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 291 hp with standard all-wheel drive. The Evolution GSR comes equipped with a five-speed manual transmission while the MR gets a six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
